Le Beef Steakhouse is the story of a passion for exceptional aged meat and a dream come true. Building on the success of our four restaurants, our mission is simple: to offer you a unique culinary experience centered on exceptional flavors.
Our Story
This restaurant project began in Christophe’s mind. Now in his fifties and a business owner for 30 years, he previously worked in the media and digital sectors before transitioning into the food industry. His goal was simple: as a true lover of meat and red wine—particularly Bordeaux—he wanted to create a restaurant that reflected his own tastes. The menu features high-quality aged beef, and he prioritizes sourcing French products through short supply chains.
Many people have joined the venture since then. His greatest supporter has been our chef, Daniel Renaudie, who joined the project a month after its launch.
Raised between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, he taught himself to cook without attending culinary school and has developed a unique set of skills. He worked in Raphy Cohen’s kitchen at the Raphaël in Tel Aviv and also had the opportunity to work at the Michelin-starred restaurant La Rive, part of the Intercontinental in Amsterdam.
It is his Franco-Israeli background that has brought a real breath of fresh air to our kitchen, thanks to the originality of his dishes and his technical expertise.
The opportunity to set up shop in the Marais—close to a community close to our hearts, but above all in a central and historic district of Paris—then presented itself. We opened in June 2020 in the space formerly occupied by the Equinox brasserie at 33 Rue des Rosiers. It was the lovely summer terrace—a bustling, tourist-friendly spot—as well as the 14th-century vaulted cellar that won us over.
We decided to build our menu around aged beef. A simple cuisine that allows us to serve quality while also appealing to everyone—Parisians, French tourists, and international visitors alike. This is also why we offer halal options in two of our restaurants and vegetarian options in each of them.

Selecting exceptional meats: we source our meat through the Qualiviande cooperative, which brings together 13 family-run farms in the Sarthe region. Our meats, rigorously selected, come from breeds renowned for their tenderness and flavor. It is then aged for several weeks to develop its unique texture and flavor.
Working with fresh, local ingredients: we prioritize fresh, local ingredients to ensure optimal quality and authentic flavor. 70% of our products are French, and just over 50% come from short supply chains. Our vegetables and potatoes are grown on an organic and eco-friendly farm in Provins, Seine-et-Marne. This local sourcing allows us to pay our farmers and ranchers better wages.
Offering refined and inventive cuisine: our chef Daniel doesn’t just excel at cooking meat to perfection; in fact, the vegetables we serve are also elevated to new heights. They are oven-roasted, which helps preserve their flavor, maximum nutrients, crispness, and color. Not to mention our original and flavorful house-made sauces.
Elevating the potato: our fries are house-made, soft on the inside and deliciously crispy on the outside. Our mashed potatoes are also homemade, changing with the seasons; they’re prepared using a potato ricer, resulting in a light and creamy texture with small chunks.
